Tom Townsend is a Sheffield based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for a jazz/blues-influenced sound, blending soulful vocals with floor-trembling rhythms. With a 20-year career, he has toured internationally, set up his own label (Village Records), and produced acclaimed material like the album 'Leave It Up To Me'.

Tom's music draws from blues, jazz, funk, soul, hip-hop, and drum & bass, frequently featuring live bands with horn sections.He has been recognized as a top musician in Scarborough, performing frequently at venues like the Stephen Joseph Theatre and releasing vinyl material.

A multi-instrumentalist, Tom  began playing at age nine, later studying jazz in France and touring with various artists.  He established Village Records to release his own material and support local artists. Key songs and albums include "Leave It Up To Me," "Good God," and popular tracks featured on streaming platforms. He is known for his dedication to live performance, featuring in the band 'Fire and Rain' and Stony Jazz and supporting the local music scene.

Tom Townsend has entertained us a number of times solo  over the years at different Hunsley Acoustic Music venues, but more recently at in Little Weighton, where he agreed to perform an 'On the decking Concert' a couple of years ago. It sold out very quickly and, by popular demand this will be his third concert. The Decking is the ideal place to chill out and listen to some fine music listen. I hope you will join us.

Emily is a Hull based singer – songwriter whose performances draw on contemporary folk and country-tinged influences. She recently celebrated the release of her album 'Chrysalis'.
