Tom Townsend

Tom Townsend is the embodiment of blues, jazz, pop and soul, all fused together into one magnetic indie package.

Born and raised in Scarborough, Norh Yorkshire, he has entertained thousands over his

25 year career to date, becoming a respected local landmark in original music.

A natural multi-instrumentalist, Tom's relaxed and engaging style is irresistible,

whether experienced solo in an intimate coffee house or with his full ensemble in a

concert hall - horns and all!

Many will also recognise Tom as lead guitar and singer in the six piece band Fire and Rain, who perform

the songs and music of James Taylor in theatres, halls and venues around the region . He is a highly respected musician by his co musicians and he has performed many times on the HAM stage. It is a pleasure to be able to welcome him back to perform a solo gig.

With complimentary personal comments about his work from the likes of Nick Mason, Chris Barron and Sir Alan Ayckbourn, the quality of Tom's origianl music has been commended by legends in their field.
